We got up really early Friday morning and headed to the Spirit of Boise Balloon Festival. We packed up hot chocolate and donuts and camped out on the grass at Ann Morrison Park. When we found our spot we didn't realize that we were surrounded by balloons. Sooo cool!!
While they were filling the balloons they were playing the most beautiful music. Still trying to find it... In the cool, early morning air with all of the balloons it seriously brought me to tears!
We counted about 25 balloons. When they were all up in the air we headed to school :) They thought they would get the day off... Anyway it was fun seeing the balloons driving to school too.
We loved the balloons so much Friday we came back for the "night glow" with Eric. It was fun being there at night.
I don't know what we did, but our kids went CRAZY! They were jumping and running all over the place. I think I would have been ok, but there was sooo many people there. They had fun:)
Henry and Jack holding the Coca Cola hot air balloon:)
Here they are BURNING. Each burn got better and better as it got darker.
This was the last "3-2-1 BURN" at the Spirit of Boise Balloon Festival. Very cool!!
