This is a yearly tradition that Elsie and I participate in. It is the largest women's 5K in the nation. It is amazing to be a part of. This year we got rained on! Because of the rain we parked towards the end of the race and walked the last 200 yards!!! Woohoo! We enjoyed the chocolate milk, chocolate dreamcicles, and cookies at the finish party. Goood times!

We ended up walking the entire thing!!! We figured we were already wet- why not?!?!?! It was fun! And of course- as soon as we got to the car after the walk- the rain stopped!! :D
It will always be one of those- "Remember when we did that 5K in the POURING rain?!?"

Jo-Right when we got home, it was all nice and sunny. Go fig.
I didn't see anyone besides Alli. I walked with some friends that were in the blue wave and I caught up to them surprisingly. It was so fun.

I love that you made this a tradition. I still have my orange number from when we went 3 summers ago. It's too bad I can't make it back there each year to go, that was a lot of fun. We sure do miss you guys already.
