Happy 10th Birthday Henry!!

We had a BIG weekend celebrating Henry's Birthday, Easter, and watching General Conference! First thing Sunday morning, we were up and out for Henry to open up his gifts. For their birthdays we take the siblings to the Dollar Store to pick out something. Oliver got him a magic set, Jack got him a rubik's cube, Elsie got him a bow & arrow set, with a knife, and princess butterfly got him a little notebook. It is fun to watch the kids reaction to their gift being opened!

Grandma & Grandpa Holmstead got Henry a Lego set. Hooray! These boys can not get enough Legos!! Grandma & Grandpa Dahl got Henry a bike helmet. When he got done unwrapping he hadn't even noticed not getting anything from Eric and I. He was so excited to work on his Legos in his room, they all ran down the hall to get building. Eric had slipped into his room earlier and parked a new bike. When he walked in he said, "Oh, Wow!!" He was really excited!! It was so fun because all four kids played in his room together. I love it when they all get along!! Later that morning, Henry took his bike out to the garage and told Jack that he was not going to ride it because it was Sunday. Wow!!

For dinner Henry requested homemade pizza and instead of cake....cinnamon rolls! Yum!! We ate good all day!! I was really feeling fat:>

After breakfast, we had our egg hunt. For Easter the kids got more Nerf Gun bullets for their guns, and Elsie got glitter nail polish and nail stickers, and more candy.

Every conference we play Conference Bingo. The kids love it and they actually listen! I gave them m&m's to mark their boards. I also covered the little mini candy bars with the pictures of the Quorum of the 12 and 1st presidency, found in the Ensign, that they could eat when that person spoke. We were sugared up!! It was so nice being able to enjoy the day together watching General Conference.
