Jack hits the BIG 8!

Happy 8th Birthday Jack!!

Jack invited some friends from school to his birthday party. We took them to Shankz Blacklight Miniature Golf where they flew through the place in record time. They are a fun, energetic group! After golf, the boys came back for pizza, gifts, and brownies and ice cream. YUM! Jack has some really great friends!!

Jack got Legos, Bakugans, water gun swords, and a automatic nerf water gun. They had a lot of fun putting stuff together. Everything was soooo exciting :)


THE BIG DAY

Jack's birthday was on Sunday. He waited *patiently* for Dad to get home from his meetings so that he could open gifts. He wanted to get everyone up at 7 am before dad left, but that didn't go over very well...

Once Dad FINALLY got home, Jack opened gifts. Mom and dad got him new scriptures and a case and all of his scout stuff (shirt, kerchief, slide, and book), Grandma & Grandpa Holmstead got him the "Scorpion Pyramid" Lego set and Grandma & Granpa Dahl gave him $20 that is burning a whole in his pocket!! Brothers & Sisters got him "Dollar Store Crap." Family joke :)

For his birthday dinner he wanted stromboli. Yum. After we had brownies and ice cream with chocolate and carmel syrup. What a GREAT birthday weekend!!

Now that he is 8, Jack is gearing up to begin Cub Scouts and on Saturday, June 4th he will be baptized!! Happy Birthday Jack!! Mom & Dad love you soooo much!!
