Nothing says Spring more than new baby chicks!!

Here they are.....

Meet the newest members of the Dahl family...

Elsie picked a "Brahma" and she named her "Ellie." Jack's is a "Golden Sex Link" and he names his "Goldy"

Henry chose a "Black Sex Link" and her name is "Shadow." and Oliver's is an "Aracauna" that he named "Colonel Sanders aka. Colonelette. She will lay blue and green eggs.

The kids were so excited to get them home. In the box, Henry's was the bully, but know Elsie's has taken on that roll. They are soooo cute!! We all find ourselves walking over to the box and oohing and ahhing. We are going to keep them in the house for a few weeks to keep them warm and protected. Then out to the coop and the nice weather!

Here they are in the "brooder box." They are so small and fluffy.
